therumplers.com is a personal blog of Andy Rumpler (that’s me!! ) and Amy Wyant (that’s her!! ) We are a young couple living in Dallas.

I work for Metavante Image Solutions in Addison. At MIS, I do a lot of web application development for some of the largest financial institutions in the U.S. So there’s a possibility you’ll see a few posts here and there about the stuff I’ve done or that I’m working on.

Amy is the editor of The Vendor Guide , a bi-monthly directory of vendor information for Multi-Family and Commercial products and services. She also does a lot of work with thevendorguide.com the online expansion of the parent company.

Geeky Stuff

This site is run on WordPress , which is a light, fast, free and open source PHP-based content management system. I’ve tried to design the site with web standards in mind, so every page should validate (in theory at least). You can subscribe to this site if you have an RSS reader (all the cool kids do).

I’m also hoping to release a bunch of the software utilities I’ve worked on for this site and other purposes as open source, when I do you’ll find it here .
